Today is the perfect day to start something new OR to finish one of those pesky UFO's. For those of us who are fortunate enough to be out of danger from this rain, it is a great day to stay inside and be creative.
I am currently working on a New York Beauty quilt. It is part of my bucket list. As long as I pay attention to what I am doing and stop my mind from wandering, I am loving it! There is just something about the hum of my sewing machine and the sound of the rain that makes me want to sip on soup and to just 'create'. Instant gratification is important though, so I have to see my work growing!
Time to change direction... Maybe I should do a little bit of work around the shop. It doesn't run itself you know!
