Today I am on a finish-it-off-and-stop-feeling-guilty mission. My aim is to finish 2 quilts by the end of next week so that they can be sent off to the quilters and I can get back to what I really want to do... Wool embroidery. Yep, embellishing chickens and dots with wool and beads = my happy place.
In an effort to add a bit more fun to my Chicken embroidery, I attended a beading class on the weekend (Couture Bead Masters) , I learnt some really usable techniques from Charlotte that will be beautiful on Crazy Quilting and a little denim jacket that I am working on.
Last month I showed you that I had only completed 3 circles (not completely finished, but near enough). Now I have another 5 done and only 7 more to go (according to the pattern.) The pattern is more of a guideline to make up the individual pieces to make the circles. The final layout may be a bit different!
Show me what you are working on. Is your creative space as disorganised/organised as mine?
Now that we have some chilly weather to keep us inside, let me know if there is a class that you would like me to run. What better excuse is there than being creative AND learning new techniques AND laughing with others at the same time?
Stay safe and warm peeps.
