Good intentions - we all have them. Finish a project before we start a new one, only purchase fabric that we need to complete the current project, use our stash before we go shopping for more fabric or supplies. Sound familiar? I am full of good intentions. Then something new comes into the shop and my good intentions fly out the door with the delivery man.
Last week the Tea Pots block of the month from In The Beginning fabrics arrived. I couldn't help myself! Fast forward to today, and I am almost finished the applique and only have a few of the pieced blocks to do and then - just like magic - I will be able to put it all together. Two weeks of fun sewing in between working and life in general. Now the challenge for this weekend is to hurry up and actually get it finished because next week I am running a class on making an iron caddy. "So, what is the challenge?" I hear you ask. I am desperate to make up my very cute sample and can't stop thinning about it! The Tea Pots could end up in the UFO pile!!!
Tell me, what are your good intentions and what makes them simply evaporate? I know that I am not alone here. Happy sewing x
