Have you ever had a day where you just want to get your UFO's magically finished? Well, I have been there for the past few weeks. I have completed a few memory T-Shirt quilts for customers. Found some embroidered pieces that just needed to be assembled into a little wall quilt. Discovered a half-done English Paper Pieced hexi quilt that I will pull apart and turn into something... (The feature fabric is, let's just say...missing!) Three other quilts that need another couple of hours to complete them. Oh, and I am still working on my chickens and circles from Sue Spargo. Now here is my dilemma... Some new things have just arrived that I want to make! What to what do? What to do?
Oh, and then, a friend of mine found an amazing framed counted cross stitch at an op shop for $5. Someone has spent hours working on this piece and it was just tossed away. Naturally, I couldn't just let all of that effort by this lady go to waste, so I have since restored it, played with the frame a bit and now it has pride of place in my work room.
By popular demand, I am running a new Beginners class on Wednesday mornings from the 17th of July. Book in and enjoy the fun and satisfaction of creating something that really is amazing.
